I have an okayish sounding pair of in-earbuds considering how cheap they were, the Hifiman RE-300a, and I do like their small size as they fit in the ear okay, unfortunately after years of jamming those types of buds in my ear, I have found they are just not for me.

Now I do not consider myself a true audiophile, but I do appreciate the way music sounds a heck of a lot more compared to pretty much anyone outside of my family.  I grew up with Bozaks, Phase Linears, Rotels, etc.  So while I do desire something that sounds nice, it doesn't have to be perfection.

Since I am a very active person I'm looking for sport over the ear Bluetooth headphones. They need to be able stay on the head while running, rowing, cutting grass, weed eating, leaf blowing and be able to withstand sweating.  Even better if the pads are washable, but I could concede on that. They don't need to be noise cancelling but at least do a good job of drowning out most sounds, have decent sound quality and be loud enough to still listen clearly while on a loud lawn mower. Not one of the super enhanced bass types that kill out all those beautiful mids and highs.

My budget is around the $150 mark.  I originally purchased the Soul X-TRA but found they were too large even at its smallest setting so I need a pair of headphones that will fit a smaller noggin (this is the #1 priority).  They sure make a ton of sport earbuds, but when is comes to actual sport over the ear headphones the pickings certainly appear to be slim.

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

You might check out the Senn RS160, Audio Technica ATH-S700BT, and the AKG K845BT. Not sure if any of these will work for you as you have a number of requirements, but it is possible one could work.   ---)

I really appreciate the suggestions.  The Senn RS160 doesn't appear to have a mic which while not a huge con, it is still a strike against.  I am reading the Audio Technica ATH-S700BT might be too large for me and it appears from the reviews the sound on the AKG K845BT is on the low end so that sort of takes it out of consideration.

I should say that I would be willing to shell out a few more dollars for the right headphones if they met my criteria.  And if the ear pads aren't sweat resistant, but have the ability to be replaced by pads that are designed for sweating I could get behind that as well.

Lots of reading and research and have found a few more that might work.  Still upset about the Soul X-TRA being too large as I think they would have been perfect, but in any case here are the others I've come up with:

SMS Audio SMS-BTWS-SPRT -- looks good, worried about being too large, but looks to be the best option if they fit.  Is the sound good enough?  Also looks like I could get them for $143.95 on their website, but it says "FINAL SALE - no returns or exchanges".

Monster ROC Sport Black Platinum Over-Ear Bluetooth Headphones -- not a lot of info on them and doesn't seem to be available yet.  The monster site just gives a 404 error when you click on them.  Unfortunately at $399.95 they are WAY out of my price range anyway.

SMS Audio SMS-ONWD-SPRT -- these just seem too cheap and "may" not be worth my time.  I can get the blue color for $39.99 on Amazon.

Monster ROC Sport Freedom -- seems like they may too big and not sure on the sound.  Also looks like they'd be uncomfortable.  $132.99 on Amazon.

Monster Isport Freedom -- seems cheap as well and sound may be poor?  $109.00 on Amazon in black.  It also looks like they will have a new version of these but are not out yet.  Can't find info on that.  Would it be worth waiting as long as the price is right?

Skullcandy Crusher Wireless Bluetooth -- not really sport headphones so probably just pass.  $199.99 on Amazon.

Always appreciate the thoughts from those more in tune with headphones than me.
