I was going to use my 555 for movies but when I put on the movie INDEPENDENCE DAY the low bass just broke up real bad on my 555. Then I tried some music and there was no highs in it. So I put on my 650 and wow the low bass was full and tight with not a hint of break up and it just vibrated in my ears. Then I put the same music on and there was all the highs with a very full sound.

I guess I am now spoiled by me 650 and just cant go back to a lesser headphone. I also tried this same movie with the 595 and they started to clip with the low bass.

I ordered a replacement cable for the 650 the
Mogami Neglex 2534 cable that I should get maybe by tomorrow. I can use the 12 long cable and hope it also gives me better sound and sound stage. I will see.
Anyone know anything about this cable?

Happy for you, to finally have found your sound. Looks like we'll be seeing a 595 and 555 up F/S ?

The 555 and 595 are already sold and shipped out. The reason I bought the
Mogami Neglex 2534 cable was because it only cost 70.00. I can use the 12' over the 10' orignal cable. The orignal cable sounds great but the seller claims the Mogami Neglex 2534 cable gives better mids and sound stage and overall better sound. So of course I just had to buy it at the very low cost.

Ok, now I am starting to get scared.

Could it be that Lou finally found a pair of phones that he will actually hold on to for longer than a couple of months? The end of the world must be close at hand.

Seriously though, if you finally found your ultimate phones, then Congratulations! I bet It feels good to finally find the right phone that best suits your needs and tastes. It was a pretty long (and expensive) journey before I found the 'right' phones.

Vegas odds are still in favor of you selling or trading them away...

I highly doubt it

But, give the HD650's a chance to settle Lou, if they can stand the test of time then they are keepers.
