I was, and still am, a Bose TriPort owner. I still have it, not because I use it, but it has a broken headband.

But no ATs? It's always Senn vs. Grado, plus some AKG. Who was the author...


Edit: "belie its low price" ? Who, in this 21st century, uses the word "belie" ?

most of the good ATs aren't available to the US market unless you import... not the best for a school newspaper. save the W5000, pretty much none of their models we discuss here are even listed on the US version of their site!

if the newbie is starting out with the kcs-75, it is good to show him where he will end up thousands of dollars later (k1000).

Naw, the whole point of the first sentence was to make them recognize the Bose name, then get their attention and hook them by saying how bad they really do suck.

Great article! I think there should have been a little bit more said about how much bose sucks though >_>

Also, where are the K81DJ's? And the Marshmallows? Maybe if the writer had more room he could fit them in... Great effort though!
