Made a post and got my red underline for mispelled words (very common for me).
Usually I can right click on the word and get the correct spelling, but not now. Only get the copy & paste menu.
Mac OS 10.6.3 using FireFox or Safari.

Use cntl+right mouse click to get the normal spelling suggestions.

It indeed works. It also allows to change dictionaries or use copy, cut and paste.
 
But why did they have to make it so complicated ? It's the only forum I know with such a bothersome writing interface.

Becasue as time progresses, technology must get harder to use because people are suckers for eye candy, not utility.

I would much prefer it if it was as you were typing a word document, rather than having to hold CTRL
