Hopefully this is the right forum for this.

I have a pair of Reference Audio speakers model: R102T each with a 10 inch sub built in. I have noticed that only one sub seems to be actually pumping out bass whereas the other just acts like a mid range.
Any ideas on how to fix this?
There are no dials or whatever on the speaker cabs either.

I am using a Yamaha RX V663.
My speakers are these;
Reference Audio Systems

I had tried swapping the front speakers (left to right & vice versa) with the same result. Only the right channel has the lower bass sound whereas the left does not.

Would it be a setting I am missing on the receiver?

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the wire has fallen out of the woofer. It's just passively vibrating to the other speakers in the enclosure. You'll need to get it repaired.

See ya

That isn't it as I had switched the right speaker with the left & the issue is still there as in the right channel is the only one pumping out the bass regardless of which speaker is used.
I also took the speaker out of the case to check & all is secure inside.

Sorry, I missed that in your original post. The problem is in the signal, not the speakers then. Check your amp and source. Does your amp have nested dials for tone controls for each channel? Try playing mono music to make sure it isn't just the way the record you're using is mixed.
