Yah, i ended up getting a fiio e11, pretty good price and I figure next time I upgrade I'll have an amp for the headphones.  Don't really notice a sound difference, unless I turn the bass boost on.

Do these do justice for edm/rap/hip hop genres? I am narrowed down to:
 
1. Sound Magic Hp100
2. Audio Technica M50
3. Monster Npulse Ncredible

Which would be best for me? I am coming from an xb500 and a new experience is fine with me. It doesn't need to have extreme bass. But, it needs to work good with my music genre.
 
And are the Hp100's far superior in sound quality to the other two?
