When I try to record 24-bit audio at any sample rate in Soundforge, the peak meter is stuck at -138.5dB and doesn't change, and seemingly nothing is recorded. I'm almost certain that my soundcard (ALC1200 on ASUS P6T) supports 24-bit recording. At 16-bit it works fine, and 32-bit or higher Soundforge tells me that my device does not have support (but does not complain at 24-bit). Any ideas? Help!
