Hi,

I have built a desktop PC and I am currently using the SoundBlaster AE-9. I am a composer and I use Finale, and something with the ASIO is causing Finale to crash constantly. I don't know if it is the sound card causing the problem.

Does anyone have any ideas what is causing this problem?

Does anyone have suggestions on a more stable sound card I can swap that is in the same tier?

What features of the AE-9 do you use?

I am not using any advanced features. I am only using it for straightforward playback.
