Hey thanks a lot for responding. I have had quite a few people tell me that the DTE900 for the price is very hard to beat! Other folks have gone on to say that they found the sound quality produced by the DTE900's bested IEM's they had that cost upwards to $1000-$1500 which is pretty remarkable. As I mentioned I should have my set tomorrow so I can't wait to give them a listen. Anything else you would recommend in the $750-$1200 range. I have been lots of positive reviews on the 7th Acoustics Supernova as well.
Unfortunately where I'm from there's no supernova available as a demo unit. Also, idk any good IEMs around that price range. Personally, spending over $600 is where diminishing returns hit hardest so I don't go above that budget nor am I willing to experiment beyond that price range. Best I can do is play smart by letting reviewers do their thing and see if our views align closely.

I'll be comparing the dte900 and sr8 against thieaudio origin and aful cantor, hopefully they don't triumph over my existing collection haha.

I’m about to buy SR5. I take any cables and tips recommendations. I’ll browse this thread to see what has already been told but any input is appreciated.

I’ll pair them with a GO bar from iFi Audio. I’ve heard the Cayin RU7 works fine too.

I mostly listen to experimental electronic music.

Thank you :)
Try them with Audio Technica ER-CKM55 tips, which are also called Finefit.

Hello, does ayone had the mest mk2 or monarch mk2/mk3 or u12t to tell me if the dte900 can compete with them? Thanks.
Based on my memory, the dte900 is more musical, has stronger & tighter bass. Also, the mids are more forward and thicker in the dte900 than the monarch mk3. The dte900 fits better for my ears than the monarch mk3.

The only good thing about monarch mk3 is the treble having more air, sounds relaxing and smoother than the dte900. Also the upper mids aren't as spicy/overwhelming unlike the dte900.

Overall I'll take the dte900 over the monarch mk3, sounds more enjoyable for my playlist.

I can't say anything about other comparisons cuz I never tried it. I'll do an in-depth comparison once I get back my dte900 repaired. A damn shame since it's the 2nd time dealing with a rattling issue for a tribrid IEM, happened with Aur audio Ascension before 🙃.

DTE264 just released today, I couldn't find the frequency response graph nor the switches unlike their previous releases. Regardless, I'm looking forward to the impressions from the DTE264 users.

I just found this on AliExpress: Sound Rhyme DTE264 In-Ear 2DD+6BA+4EST Knowles Sonion Balanced Armature Liquid Silicone Film Dynamic Driver Earphone
