I bought an Oregon Scientific Helmet Cam for use at motorcycle track events. The camera is barely adequate (but the price is right, and I crash about once every two years, enough that I wouldn't want to put anything good on my lid). The sound recording is absolutely useless--you have to basically shout into it, and even that is barely intelligible. And I've confirmed it's not defective, it's just ****.
Anyway, I would like to record audio portion separately, but speeds at the track are about 155mph on the straights, so I need a setup that has unbelievable wind noise filtering.
I would match up the audio with the video later, with some software (need to find that, too).
Any ideas?
