I'm relatively new to the headphone brands, technology etc. however I've noticed the Sennheiser line of products garnering a lot of praise in these forums. For a starter headphone I'm looking into purchasing the Sennheiser HD-555 and since it is open air design, a major concern for me would be sound leakage. Compared to the Grado line,(One of my choices as well, specifically the SR60) aesthetically it doesn't look like sound would leak as much. I'm sure there are people here that have tried both. Can ya'll fill me in, maybe a comparison or whatever?

I've heard the Grados leak more than the Senns. For the first quarter of last year, I lived with two roomates in a room the size of oh, a closet. The leakage on my HD497s didn't bother them.
