After never really getting any clear understanding of how to set up my soundcard correctly from start to finish, last night i tried this and i am very happy with the sound. Can someone please explain if there is something strange going on in this scenario:

Thanks. I have seen that thread already, but those settings are really for when using an external DAC? I am just wondering where in the chain the upsampling to 24bit/48 khz is happening. F.ex. does the default sample rate setting in windows have anything to say when using ASIO?

I am using 16 bit/44khz music 99% of the time.
