I just found out that I have Sony's D-141 pcdp.

I have Panasonic's SL-SX240 and SL-SX469V.

is D-141 better than those Panasonic ones??

I don't have, nor have ever heard those Panasonic ones, but I have a D-141, and am quite happy with it. Clearer sound than my sucky SB Live! on my computer, anyway. Just keep the Bass Boost to Mid or Normal, or it can distort a bit.
