Recently got a new XBA-3 from Amazon. The right earpiece buzzes at certain frequencies when the volume is loud. I think it has to do with the bass but I am not sure. What could it be? Anyone else have this?

I got mine from Groupon and it does the same thing. I could also hear a cracking noise when I press the right earpiece into my ear or if I squeeze the sides. I have the XBA-3iP btw. Hopefully Sony will cover it under the warranty even though I bought it from Groupon...

No problems with mine too. I have the XBA3. Sounds great for electronic music!

Spoke with Sony support yesterday and they agreed to replace it with a brand new package even if it was bought from Groupon. Sony support is amazing.
