Has anyone encountered a similar problem? When touched on the 4.4mm connector, it sometimes switches to pause mode. When I manipulate it to the sides and bottom and out, it doesn't do that. It still works. It's a mystery. I have two different cables and headphones. The error is definitely not in the connectors and cables. The 3.5mm output works reliably, without interruption. I have 425 hours. Thank you for advice.

As the Walkman pauses when the headphone cable is disconnected, I would say the problem is in the plug or the port on the Walkman. Is the port clean?

As the post above mentions, there is probably an issue with the 4.4 connector on your 1Z. There is some kind of sensor there that pauses the music when you plug out the headphones.

There is definitely no problem with the cables. Sennheiser HD 800, Meze99 Classics, 4.4mm. Tested on another device without problems. I cleaned the port. I use the whole device only at home, on the table, no dust, dirt. I'll probably have to disassemble it and check the soldered cables. How does the back cover open? Is it stuck? Thank you for advice.
