Did anyone try the Dekoni Platinum or Choice Leather for this one?
The OG pads are really uncomfortable honestly.

Is the sound overall cleaner, or is it just my imagination, maybe? The bass seems less boomy, and hence the sub-bass can be heard better.

The rest of the details in the upper ranges can also be heard better. I'm not sure if this is just a byproduct of the less boomy bass, or if there's any actual emphasis too.

Upgraded lately and immediately noticed cleaner mid-upper register + more deep rumble

Me too on quest for any pads that wouldn't make my ears sweat so much ( but preserve the bass and isolation ) would be great

The great thing about the Sony app is that it can tell you the volume decibel level while your listening with the XM5, although I don't know how accurate that reading is.
