Sorry for all the little updates to the WM1 installation - while doing the ZX300 mod, I did a little change to the installation process, and I also applied it to the WM1 installation, in the hope that nobody will have any issue again.
I still don't get why exactly someone can have those issues, but well.
So you can delete previous downloads, and get the latest one for future use (link).

@MrWalkman I am very much enjoying your DMP-WM1 firmware on my WM1A, thank you very much.
I was really happy with the Chameleon 2.0 >1Z but this has even gone beyond the impressive achievements of that one.
My Oriolus iems are of decent quality but since getting the MDR-Z1R they are ones I reach for only out of convenience, but these recent firmwares have given them a boost with soundstaging and a sense of 3D I didn't experience before.
At the rate you're cranking out these firmwares I hope you are getting some rest - you maniac
We have to wonder if our certificates will ever have tiny Sony products looking back............again?
That funny little Sony 1Z picture (above) is the last remnant of 1A/1Z+ of my Walkman 1A switched over to 1Z, while using “J” region.
The certificate creates a bittersweet memory. A memory of MrWalkmans firmware I swore I’d never change in the 1A. Something preferred, something precious and something never guessed possible until it was a sonic reality. At that point I really thought about selling the 1Z, I mean the 1Z was overshadowed, the 1Z was had an ineptitude even sporting 1A/1Z+ or 1A/1Z++ or Chameleon?
Hence history can be emotional but it’s not the firmware; it’s of course the memories of listening to the firmware and the interactions and discoveries. This business is about contrast, it IS about exciting new sounds, new sound personalities and now new actual tone textures with DMP-WM1 (the new DMP-Z1 emulator for the 1Z/1A).
To cut to the chase 1A/1Z+ was special on the 1A and I was never going to change it. We get paranoid like losing something that we value that seems precious and rare. Such sound character can be the perfect example of this type of belonging.
But after hearing how the 1Z with DMP-WM1 brought in new improvements......it created a curiosity...............and we all know about curiosity!
Now was the 1Z with the exact character of the new (1A/1Z+)1A firmware yet it was NOW fortified with what was missing with the 1A. Needless to say all of us 1Z owners are profoundly aware of this “completeness”!
So curiosity got the best of me and the 1A has DMP-WM1 in it now. I have to say it’s different than the 1Z yet also much the same. There are new stratifications of bass imaging and a luxurious smooth gentle sway of the music.......like wind in the trees. Way more clear and complete that’s for sure.
I noticed that with Direct Source on, it sounds louder.
On not-the-best-side, even if I reset the settings, I sometimes still get the "An error has occurred" thing. It's not that much of a big deal, but I'll see if a full factory reset gets rid of it - but later.
