OK, this isn't the review I was planning on, cuz i dont have time, but I would like to note that my first impressions with the CD580s were not good. The V700s actually sounded ALOT more expensive and clearer, and the bass actually sounded tighter.

Then I got used to the CD580s and found that they actually provided a range of tone that made details harder to hear, but more realistic. The bass was not less tight, just lower and less resonant. I will burn them in and prolly give a full review on both later.

Man, these things are like friggin earmuffs! they are really soft and comfy like...

most sony 'phones sound completely different after burn in, as a case: Q55SL's, sounded completely horrible when I got them, now they only sound bad...D66SL's, they were good, but not great before burn-in, then after about 2 weeks use they started to become alive, and are really kicking after I added the "cotton"...hehe
