Which flash based Sony players have gapless? I'm interested in gapless playback with mp3's.

I won't be caught dead using anyone's proprietary format.

None of Sony players are gapless capable with MP3.

All of 'em in Japan with the ATRAC codec. The ones sold outside Japan are only gapless with WAV files.

Please bring back ATRAC! Or at least give the Japanese units an option for English menus.

It's very unfortunate that the only current gapless options are the ipod, Zune, and various Rockbox players. Nothing against these, but it sure would be nice to have some options.

Gapless will be in the top two considerations with future players, along with storage.

every sony is gapless, just not the international versions unless you tailor your mp3 or wav as one large file. too bad: but our market wants cheap cheap cheap: and that is what they get! the japanese ones cost 1/3 to 1/2 more than their counterparts in north americuh
