Sony NW-ZX300

I always change my opinions. Now i think i have to buy a great iem but tomorrow it can be "i have to buy a source". I was think like all headphone reviews depens on great sources. So what i read on reviews, i think like they works on these sources. And idk what does mid, soundstage, warm, bright means. Its all complicated. Before i bought fischer dba-02 in other forums people say it has really good details and really good iem. But i dont like it at all. Thanks for all answers btw.

After several tests, the most appropriate choice for my use and my tastes is the following:

At home:
ZX300 (with Huawei Mate 10 via LDAC for TIDAL) + AKG N40 (3.5 jack) or Sony MDR-1AM2 (4.4 jack)

Then, when I can afford it, I have to buy some high-end headphones and headphone amplifier to combine them with my current Hi-Fi system, which is composed of PC + iFi iPurifier 2 + iFi Micro iUSB 2.0 + iFi Gemini Cable + iFi Micro iDAC2.

On the street:

Huawei Mate 10 + EarStudio ES100 (LDAC bluetooth too) + FiiO FH1 (2.5 jack)

Could I replace my ZX300 and my EarStudio with an LG V40 or LG G8? Maybe. But honestly I think I would lose more things than I would gain, mainly to be able to enjoy my music without distractions. That is what you should value.

Why haven't you tried ZX300 with one of IEMs on the street? I used to keep mine at home, in my study - just for headphones, MDR-1AM2 or ATH-MSR7B. But now I've brought it around during window shopping in malls and more recently, touring & sightseeing London with my family 2 weeks ago. Sometimes you can't just leave that DAP-quality music at home..

I was using the ZX300 for a while on the street. But I ended up getting tired of carrying two devices. And the quality offered by EarStudio with FH1 is surprisingly good. And the comfort of hooking it to my bag ... weighs like a feather! :)

Thanks for all answers. I won't buy earsonics velvet and dap. Im gonna go with shure se846. I just wanna get some taste from sound. I have kz zs10 pro, fiio btr1k and fischers. I dont even listen the kz and fiio amp anymore. My single driver sennheiser cx3.00 even better than kz zs10 pro.
So i decided to buy shure se846. Maybe then i can think buy a dap.

Last month, I upgraded my portable system to the ZX300, SE846s and a Campfire Audio Litz balanced cable. Very happy.

I purchased a like-new zx300 for only $350 that came with the OEM Leather case + this adaptor and I see it sells for $60 on eBay which seems like a lot.

Whats so special about this adapter? Besides being able to use your many microusb cables, is there any other purpose? I'm guessing it allows you to connect to other devices that only have micro usb? Is that it? I wonder how much use I'll have of it, if I could sell it for that much I probably would. But I want to make sure.

I got mine quite cheap from ebay for when travelling, saved having to take the official Sony charging cable as I could use it with my standard micro USB cables (a few years ago before C was common). There is no other use for it than a straight up adapter. Could you be confusing the pricing with another of Sony's adapters?

Does this adapter allow digital out from the zx300?
