Sony NW-ZX300

I'm personally not going to get a screen protector for this dap because it won't ever go outside, and it would defeat the purpose of the matt glass finish. I have baby clip+ for jogging/yard work etc. And little ak70 (bought black one) for the car and Tidal.

So hopefully the leather case is microfiber against the screen.

Is the inside cover leather or microfiber that presses against the screen?
Sure looks to be microfiber

Sorry, I forgot to update. The 300A from Sony China arrived with 3 language selections. 2 Chinese and English. High gain option is present. Remote control option is present and works perfectly. Here's a pic of the conformity badge on the back. It is just a vinyl sticker.

Does any one know of where I can find a non-flip case with access to the screen and buttons at all times? Seen only flip and pouch type solutions thus far. Any leads on budget balanced cables (0.78mm IEM termination) would be greatly appreciated too.

For those of you who can wait till 10th NOV you can get the regular non-A version from Singapore. International shipping was free last I checked. SDG 759.05, which around USD 560 or GBP 425 with a free screen protector (if ordered before 31st Oct). Its the NW-ZX300 64GB, but I'm waiting to hear back if the black one will be available.

I saw some silicon type PU cases somewhere. Honestly it would look absolutely mismatched with the zx300.

As for after market cables i have found VE to be great. LINK

Dignis should have something out soon as well. It's a bit off putting to spend 20% of the DAP's value on a case though!

@superuser1 I've got the 3.5mm VE cable. Don't see a 4.4mm option though.
If you go to the page where the option to customise the basic headphone cable is you would find it in the various options provided to custom build your cable.

Ah I need to have one of the "hand terminated" 0.78mm pins selected to see all the options. The machine terminated pins limit the source end termination to 2.5mm and 3.5mm. Thanks! USD 55 all in, can have no complaints. Their cheaper cable I'm using now has treated me well over quite a few months.

Probably Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and English.

Ever used their cables? Look really nice & reasonably priced (relatively speaking), haven't seen too many aftermarket cables with right angle pentaconn.

Not their headphone cable but I have their 4.4mm female > 3.5mm male converter cable which is nicely put together.
