Anyone found a good TRRS-F-3.5mm to TRS-M-3.5mm adapter cable so my balanced headphones for the NW-ZX2 will work in a regular 3.5mm stereo device like an iPod/iPad/iPhone?

I had a friend make me one. He found male and female trrs on eBay from China

Will this work? I have K10U and new Moon Audio balanced cable to use with my ZX2 but sometimes want to use with my laptop's regular SE output.

Yes I don't think there is going to be any mass market adaptor that will have the right wireing

Speaking of trrs and wiring for jacks I'm thinking of getting a trrs cable made for my shure se425s. Before I do I've been trying to check how the jack should be wired up for the Sony. As far as I am aware it is -

the tip of the jack being L+ following the R+ then L- and then R- I

Is this correct?

Yes, that is, but what is R- I ? It should (L+R+L-R-) in order of T-R-R-S

Can the 3.5MM TRRS balanced tip be plugged safely into a regular SE headphone jack of a cell phone or laptop.  I've read various answers that it's safe and sometimes "it depends".  Does anyone know for sure and/or has tried it?

Cellphone is ok As it was designed to accept the TRRS, you will lose out the left Channel.....laptop is not ok as it was designed to accept TRS only and not TRRS, there is a slight different...enough to damage the socket if you would force TRRS into TRS

Some laptops are actually designed for trrs headsets so they would also be ok but again you will probably lose one channel. Plugging a trrs into to a trs may or may not work depending on where the ground connection is made

Onkyo HF Player App is now confirmed to be able to playback high-resolution and DSD in the free version....I knew it...otherwise how could it sound better than the stock ZX2 apps ? The paid version can be used to output high-refs to Mojo...yayyyy. More testing for Mojo mwahahaha....

Paid 8.74$ and nada...android on zx2 was unable to play 24/96 toward Mojo...only stock player does.

If you are able to hear the differences, yes ! It is better than stock player app. I purchased the Onkyo key to unlock, and I was able to output high-res 24/96 into Mojo, so it work on my phone android 5.1....however I am going to retest on zx2. It even up convert into DSD lol...wow...what a software app.
