what volume are you listening now? using my TF-10 around 14-15 / 30.

I'm using 9-10 on both which I feel is quite loud. Haven't tried it on public transport yet though.

Dont remember hearing any. But on my previous Walkman Z, there's very obvious hissing.

that's good. this Dap only have 15mW @ 16Ω for sensitive iem this is a PRO you will not hear any hissing
but for some higher impedance iem it will not have enough power to drive specially full size HPs
