The 310 are flimsy. The sound will mess up just buy putting them on & off. The left start first.

You mean the left channel woon will give no signal anhymore because of the flimsy construction. I'm sorry, my English is not that good...

I bought theseMDRZX110 for my kids as a throwaway headset since they are young and are a bit rough on gear... now I have a pair too. Not the most compact, perhaps not the most sound-isolating, and I know there are better headphones out there, but for $15 they are darn hard to beat!

Got a pair today all tough I really did not need another pair of cans. I really have to bump this thread. I was in the store with a couple of cans 5 times more expensive. Not even one came close to this pair. Have no fear in buying one blind.

The zx110ap with the mic has thinner wire & balanced sound.

The zx110 with no mic has a thick wire and the bass is all over place.

These are not sealed headphones. I had to use tape to cover up the openings. Easy to take apart and hack.

If like the zx110 try the MDR EX15 iem.

The zx100 are mono. The 310s are junkie.

Which openings you covered? interested in isolating my pair more

I am late to this party, but the 300s are not the same as the 310s.

Yes, I am also late to this party. After I read these reviews, I decided to purchase a ZX110AP, seeing that I was never satisfied with my ZX310AP. The 310 was just plain murky all around, while I was pleasantly surprised with the ZX110AP (and only the AP version since I had read that the plain ZX110 sounded a bit thick).

What the hey! For around $15-ish you can't go wrong! I cannot say the same for the ZX310AP since it is way overpriced for its sound quality.

The ZX110AP will ultimately go to my home computer (which now has an AMD Ryzen 7 3800X CPU). However, I will use it with my smartphone whenever the battery in my true wireless earbuds need a recharge.
