There's nothing to apologize about, serious kodus for the (double) effort!
It's good that you could finally confirm that they sound identical cause i remember from your previous posts that you said the Z1000 had slightlymore punch.
The Z1000 is a real favourite of mine, I think it has the best VFM in full-size headphones. Sold it with the intention to try the EX1000 as it's more practical for outdoor use for me, If i don't get along with them i'll certainly consider going for another pair, likely the 7520 as it can be had for a lot cheaper from the official retailers.

Thank you! I like to have the best, if I can afford it, and I was thinking of maybe exceeding my budget to get the Z1000. Now, I'm quite happy to get the more-affordable 7520.

If any Z1000 owners want to trade their shorter (1.2m) cable for my longer, coiled 7520 cable, let me know. They have the same locking mechanism into the headphones. PM me!
