i WAS wondering if anybody knows if sony makes or has a cloth earpad for the mdr-v900. Or if somebody elses (beyerdynamic etc) pad would fit on these. i prefer the cloth or velour pads as opposed to the "fine leatherette) pad.

p.s. and before someone writes "well call sony" i did already and they said no but then one guy said "he remembers somebody had a cloth pad but he cant remember who it was"

part solver has replacement pads but they're hella expensive. i think the v600 pads will work though. (i'm probably getting due for replacement too)

I don't for sure if they have cloth pads, or covers for the MDR V900, or not. (They do for the V6 / 7506) But call Dave at "Location Sound" I was just in there this morning, and they have a wide variety of replacement pads, etc. Dave is very helpful and may know of something that will work for you. He can be reached at (800) 228-4429, in the parts department. They are open only Mon. - Friday.
