I just installed a 3.5mm jack in my MDR-V6's with a tiny jack I found on eBay

I bought a Neutrik tiny (mini) XLR connector and a couple female connectors, and they're still en route

From anybody's judgement or experience with MDR-V6's, will the Mini XLR jack fit in the housing?

I just ordered a pair of Sony MDR V6's and plan to do the same mod as you right away. I was wondering if you managed to fit the male mini xlr into the housing of your V6's and what was wrong with the 3.5 jack that you fitted?
