I have had Sony Mdr V300 for almost a year. I had an oppourtunity to compare them with Bose Triport (On ear) and MDR-v700. Bose had good mids and highs but had a very slow bass, it sounded like cheap subwoofer. V700 had to much prominent mids and highs and hence weak bass.
I know that v300 have only one good thing, it is bass. With v300 i can hear bass guitar on iPod 5G with default eq presset. But mids and highs are bad, they lack detail.
Which portable headphone would you suggest me as a replacement for v300 so that i will have the same(or better) bass + good rest. I like closed headphones.
I think about AKG k416p. It costs 70$. Is it worth that price. Will I enjoy them after Sony v300? Will they reproduce bass normaly on default EQ preset?
