Sony MDR-V300 MOds?

Is there any mods to make these headphones sound better.

There is no sale that would make those cans worth what you paid for them. Best mod = buy a different pair of cans.

Yep, I just received mine and they are the second-favorite headphone I own, and cost a fraction of what the ones they surpass do. There is no downside.

I used to have a pair of the MDR-V300's. They have many more minuses than plusses. The only plus is that they're L O U D, even directly from a weak portable player. But their bass doesn't go very deep, and is severely overboosted. The upper mids are sucked out, and their highs grainy and muffled. Even worse, they're painfully uncomfortable - even more uncomfy than Grados ever will be!

Worst of all, they're flimsy as s***: Every time you put them on, they feel like they're going to break - and they often did break at the headband.

There is absolutely no way at all whatsoever to improve the sound of these crappy beasts. The drivers used inside the MDR-V300's just plain suck no matter what.
