I certainly hope so because the T1 are in a completely different class man.

I have the beyer in my sight too for future upgrade path.. More on the 1.1 model though. What's your impression on it with a Tube? Does it sound as natural and analogue as MA900 is?

I have the T1 1st gen & the MA900 on a Little Dot MK2 the T1 sounds so good on this set up.
 
The MA900 Sounds good with a little EQ to bring out more of the 8K and a little 16K but it never hits the spot like the T1's do but they come mighty close with the EQ for me anyhow.

That cable looks awesome! I've been wanting to recable mine for a few years now. I'll have to contact him via Etsy and see if he has the new Sony 4.4mm plug to pair with the WM1A or PHA2...

Out of curiosity, I bought the Dekoni velour pads that are intended for upgrading the Beyerdynamic DT770/880/990. I'll report back on how they fit and any sound change I notice.

For all you MA900 lovers still lurking in this thread, I was wondering what the next step up headphone wise would be? Would like something close to the same sound and do not want to lose the soundstage. Love the out of head feeling I personally get from these headphones.

I am not getting rid of my MA900 (never ever). Just wonder where one would go from here. Have a feeling it is going to be very expensive.
