They appear to have been around for a while but I don't hear much talk of them. Are current owners still happy with theirs?

They look a bit beat-up for the price he wants.

I've got a pair. I usually listen to them out of a 2.1 channel amp with only the sub on. They're so comfortable you could wear them all day and not know they're on.

I`ve enjoyed my pair of F1`s for almost 9 years now. They`re one of the most comfy headsets out there. The sound is very open and detailed, bass is a bit weak but tight and detailed. Compared to the K1000 I had the bass is more present in the F1. The F1 has many of the qualities I liked with the K1000, less detailed of course, but the price is also much less...

Very good build quality for the price, the frame is made of magnesium alloy and the ear-cusions are a very comfy faux leather.
One thing to consider though is that these are extremely open headphones, any outside noise is clearly audible, and the sound leaking out is also very loud for anyone nearby.
