I am really in the market for a new pair of headphones. I would like them to be very comfortable and portable. I have narrowed my choices done to two headphones: the sony mdr-7506 and the eggo d66. If I get the sony mdr-7506 I will probably change out the ear pads for the beyer 250. Now my question is, which is going to sound better and be more comfortable. I listen to more alternative/vocal type music. I don't need a whole lot of bass, just something to give the music more depth. Thanks in advance for your comments.

sony v6 for electronica and analog sources, the d66 for rock and minidisc sources. i have owned both for a while now and that is what i mainly use them for. if you go with the v6 an amp is really recommended.
