@CustomShop you should do it this style (black one). With a small white sony logo at the same font size.
what did u end up with? M7? i tried crushing my highs on M9 by EQ to see how it sounds. Idk if it's accurate since ive never tried M7 personally, but with the specs sheet, M7 has less 1 BA tweeter, my best bet is to crush the highs to imitate the sound. Honestly, it is not that bad. As long as u have played around with the tips. These lines up changes so much with tips. The best is deep fit with its hybrid tips so I use small size tips (light yellow). Probably, if u want to save some bucks, M7 is good enough but if u can find a good deal on M9, im sure M9 with that BA tweeter will shine better.Looking back after having it's lower siblings (215, 535LTD), that I would think the 846 was what the 535 was supposed to be in terms of upgrade. The 535LTD to me didn't feel like an upgrade in sound from the SE215.
Did you mean the soundstage of the M7 or the 846 wasn't as good? Sorry I was confused at your last statement.
The M9 needs to be shoved down DEEP, and tips that are too big won't allow it.
correct! i can slip out from our ears. It's hard to get the best size for it to be well deep and tight. Given with the enormous size of tips, the light yellow is not bad for me! sometimes i want it to be grippier.I think I’ve found the perfect tip for me. Sony MH1C tips in size S.
They are a different texture to the standard Sony hybrid silicone tips. Slightly grippier. I found that a deeper insertion with the smaller stock tips sound the best but they kept slipping out of my ear, so these tips are ideal as they maintain the same sound signature and stay in place

I would love if sony can make new revisions with longer nozzle seriously.
I highly suggest you check out the updated SpiralDot++! It changed the game for me!correct! i can slip out from our ears. It's hard to get the best size for it to be well deep and tight. Given with the enormous size of tips, the light yellow is not bad for me! sometimes i want it to be grippier.

that EQ is making M9 brighter and bass shy so far ive tried. The most obvious thing is it cuts the highs extension that M9 is capable of. Not really my thing. Ive tried Toranku EQ target, this sounds better that oratory though it has no more warm forte that M9 is popular for. The imaging is outstanding still.Just in case you are not aware, there is now a updated EQ parameter for M9.

I prefer oratory1990's over Crinacle's.

Try these:If bass shy, you can leave the setting as flat (ie is 0) for frequency 31Hz to 250Hz since this range is related to sub-bass and bass. Further tweak to high extension can be made by changing -11 to -1 instead to keep the characteristic of this BA.
Personally, I feel the oratory1990 is suitable for most music. However for bass heavy music, my tweaks should work fine.
Thanks for sharing. Too bad my ZX507 doesnt have parametric EQ. Am sure will benefit those reading this thread though.Try these:
Fc/gain/q
120/-3/0.4
1375/-2.9/1
2975/9.5/2.92
3235/-7.5/2.26
900/0.6/3
Everything is the same with what toranku did except in the lows. kudos to him. I kinda like this. i will keep switching depending on my mood.
