They're not THAT expensive, but they aren't cheap either. This was just a heads up in case some curious head-fier has extra cash burning a hole in their pocket

Alot of the old stax use this as well. It works but it's a pain in the ass. My friend has an sr30 stax with this.

Apparently these are electret condenser headphones, like electrostatic but slightly different... anyone know more about these?
