Hi I am going for a classic disc spinner. I can see a D-88 for a reasonable price. Is the skip problem on this not significant, providing it rests on a table still? Does the D-150 have a better headphone out, and is less prone to skip? The D-50 is the most expensive second hand. Thanks.

I have both D-150/15 & D-50 discmans and sold the D-88 (couple of years ago). I didnt like the way the CD was popping out while spinning. Also the sound wasn't as boomy as the other two.

I enjoy the D-50 more than any discman because of the sound & it being the first PDCP in production. It is boomy & has a huge soundstage with the MDR-V6.

The D-150/15 is a nice slim player. Although this one handles CD without much skipping. If you get one with all the remote & other accessories its a deal!
