Long time lurker,first time poster...so,please be gentle.
Could someone tell me with my current setup,will I be able to tell the differences between HD600 or 650?
I have read that with HD650,It's like you are sitting at the front row,while with HD600,it makes you think you sit further back(fifth row may be?),is that true?
I had SM V3 + DT770 before,love the bass and headstage but recessed mid and "in your face" sound bother me a bit(some recording even make me think I am on the stage with the artists....and I don't like that) so I got rid of them,now I am thinking of getting sr-71 + hd650/600.
I listen to almost every kind of music except Rap.(I don't have anything against RAP...I just don't like it )
I value Vocal the most,I am looking for something that sound like my Jean marie reynaud "trentes" speaker drived by plinius 9200,it's CLEAN(very important to me,my ears are very sensitive to hiss/sibilance),fast,extremely musical and engaging,good sound stage and pin point imaging, Midrange/female voices that is extremely involving,something that's more balance than sm v3/dt770 combo,is that possible or i am just asking too much?will sr71+hd600/650 fit the bill?
