jp11801 and I saw Sonny Rollins at the Gusman Center in Miami last night. If any of you have a chance to catch one of his shows, it is a must see. The guy is 75 and can still flat out play the tenor sax. The show was 2 hours, which included an encore that seemed to last 20 minutes. I feel privileged at having the opportunity to see a living jazz legend.

I've seen a lot of live music and this show was one of the highlights. The other, that was comparable was seeing John Lennon's last live performance, but that's another story.
