I searched the forums and could not find anything on this baby.

Here's the company URL: http://www.sonicadventure.biz/

Specs:
Hybrid tube headphone amp with MOSFET outputs (Best of both worlds);

Quality components: ALPS blue pot volume control, Solen caps, two 6H23-EB tubes and 2 separate headphone jacks;

Analogue inputs: 2 RCA (L&R);

Pre Out: 1 RCA (L&R);

Frequency response: 8Hz - 110kHz (-3dB); 8Hz - 60Khz (-1dB);

THD <0.05% (Vrms:1V;1kHz);

for $370 USD.

Seems well amde and well designed - this is similar to the Melos design - tubes driving MOSFET output.

Doesn't anyone with oodles of cash want to buy one and review it for us?

considering most melos amps sell at around ~$600 and have problems, this sounds like it could be an interesting deal. it's very max-looking, that's for sure. i say somebody should pm hirsch and point him to this thread..

The manufacturer of that amp actually posts on head-fi every now and then. His name is katsudon1 (hopefully i spelled that correctly) I requested a demo unit myself, and i will post a review of it when I get it. By design alone, it should be a nice amp. It has a nice linear circuitry setup. I'd also like to try those Audio Technica ATH-AD10 headphones one of these days. There is no doubt in my mind that they sound better than the W100's.

At what point does the headphone amp category become saturated?

Never mind, miller. Yes, this amp is based on the DIY project, HP-100. Now REALITY is more advanced and refined than its ancestors with quality components used. FYI: The original designer is one of the founders of SonicAdventure Ltd.
