Which songs do you use to distinguish higher end equipment?
For resolution and separation, I like to use The Rolling Stones "Angie". Jagger has a track where he is whispering the words to the song. You can pick it up after he says let me whisper in you ear, he whispers Angie but he continue to whisper through much of the rest of the song. It is barely noticeable on really good equipment on lesser equipment it is much harder to distinguish.
When I had my edition 10's HP's It was much more evident than some of my other headphones. In my bedroom speaker system It gets merged into the rest of the sounds
Please post your songs and for which aspect you are focusing on ( Bass, resolution, speed, etc..)
