Songs that make your headphone WOOOOOW!!!

Some of the music that sounds outstanding with my gear :

Sea Change (Album) & all of his other albums but Sea Change especially -Beck

Eric Clapton (Especially the albums produced by Tom Dowd)

Red House (song) -Jimi Hendrix

Most of McCartney's Wings & Single albums remastered especially Japanese mini lp ones or Gold CDs remastered by Steve Hoffman (On most of McCartney's songs there are so many subtle/hidden sounds/instruments and background voice sing songs, etc.)

All of their albums -Steely Dan (even their early albums were well produced = detailed sound)

Creole Moon (Album) -Dr. John

Low Rider (song) -War

Say Hello (song) -April Wine

All 3 Anthology albums -The Bealtes (better produced and remastered then the 2009 ones).

My set up :

TEAC PD-H600 CD player w/Burr Brown PCM1796 D/A converter, a 192kHz/24-bit component.

TEAC HA-501 Headphone Amplifier w/damping factor adjusted at mid-low enabling my HD650s to perform at their peak potential (see chart below).

PositionHeadphone ImpedanceDamping Factor
HIGHat 32 ohmsDF=76
*at 64 ohmsDF=98
MIDat 120 ohmsDF=97
*at 300 ohmsDF=115
LOWat 600 ohmsDF=118

Other factor offered by TEAC HA-501 :  Switchable Output Mode for flexibility Line output level from the rear panel can be switched amongst "Fixed Level", "Variable Level (coupled with volume)" and "Off". I have mine on "Variable Level", I find it adjusts & fluctuates automatically independently from the main volume fine tuning the sound even further.

Headphones : (my favourite HPs ever) Senns HD650s (1 yr old) w/Cardas Fat Pipe Cable for HD6XX - 10ft.
Oh, almost forgot : ABSOLUTELY NO VEIL

Just throwing in my 2 cents worth & hope some may try out & enjoy what I've shared.

Holy Explicative Batman!

Ramp up the scale to 10 and that would go down pretty well at some hardstyle events....

See this video @4:30 min and you'll see what I mean:

I'm sure some cross upside down rockers could use something like that in their shows as well - lol.
