This professor has a rule that if a cell phone goes off in class whoever's it is has to come up and sing a song, typically I'm a little teapot or something like that. These guys take advantage of that rule http://youtube.com/watch?v=QsB2UdymKAM
Whats funny about this to me is that in eighth grade music class my teacher had the same rule, and when it happened to one kid he picked up a guitar from the corner of the room and started playing dueling banjos from deliverance.

The CTA (Chicago Transit authority) used to shuttle kids from my high school to the train station were we could connect with L trains or other bus going in towards our direction. there was a private boys high school and a private girls school rite next to each other but other then the band class and the CTA bus shuttle the school's were completely separate (both high schools).



Taking home the CTA bus from high school the older class men used to make the freshmen come to the back of the bus and sing happy birthday or songs of that nature. sometimes it was all fun and games then other times it would get stupid and really out of hand.

When I was on the bus I was supposed to be on (boys high school CTA) I would mostly sit in the middle and not really get involved with the front or the back....then again 99% I would sneak on the girls bus home.. imagine the ratio of girls to me.. 70 to 1...my kind of odds..

anyway since I am telling this story I will ad that when the girls cta bus and boys cta bus would be next to each other at a light would be fun. one time one of my best friends held a sign to the window on the boys bus saying "show us your..****!". so without anyone knowing I was on the Chic's bus I ran to the window and pressed my naked chest screaming "OH SAMMY!!!"..

both bus's laughed pretty hard, did you know Humor is one hell of a way to a chic's good side?...it is

at my last school, we had a similar rule. if you were caught with your cell phone ringing, you wouldn't be able to go to a school-sanctioned biweekly dance unless you did karaoke to the ringtone at the dance.

...my ringtone at the time was "U Can't Touch This". worst mistake of my life. i should have picked neil young.

edit: on the other hand, i do the dance from the video damn near perfect. it's just not the same without genie pants though. i think i will just lie and say i came to the dance with genie pants from now on. that's more fun.
