hey,
i have an old sonicstage version 1.5 on my pc..and i went to install the new version..and when it tries to uninstall the old one an error message comes up with..'the setting of installer is not enough. setup is aborted'
so now i cant get a new one or do anything! iv searched all over the net endlessly and found no help...can somebody help me please??!?

SonicStage is infamous for its uselessness. I've since moved away from NetMDs but in order to install SonicStage 3.0 I had to do a "Repair" on Windows.

Alternatively download the Setup file from a different location/try a different version.

The annoying thing is, the Setup file is used to download the ACTUAL installation program and has to be run every time you try to install. But I just copied all the files from the TEMP folder and kept them.

You could delete all of its files and remove all registry traces, then it'd be completely uninstalled...FOOL! (lol). I forgot how to remove things from the add/remove programs list, but I think deleting its registry traces should take care of that.

bwahaha.. damn SS... my buddy Rob just tried to install this shyte on his PC, took a whole day to get things right an nearly doomed the poor machine.

you might have better luck with sonicstage 2.3
