I came across this recently and realised it is something useful for those that like me like to lay out circuits with pen/pencil -

http://www.runoffgroove.com/perftemplates.html

I will post the pictures below which seems to be OK as long as the link to the actual page is provided as requested bu the page owner.

first up is the 213 hole Small Bear/half of Radio shack 278-148 board

Next is the Radio shack 278-149

medium-template.png

and finally the Radio Shack 278-150

i find this cool because now i can just print out the picture and "connect the dots" or even paste in prts and print out the final layout of a project using the actual grid pattern.

usually if i think something is useful someone else somewhere does also so here it is !

Wow... that is helpful.

I usually end up drawing out something on graph paper or on normal printer paper (never to scale... or even symmetrical). This is quite helpful. Thanks for posting this!

Isn't this site cool?!

The amp emulators using JFET's are brilliant. Check out the soundclips of the 'Matchbox', 'Eighteen', and my favorite, 'Umble'.

What's to stop us from emulating a favored tube amp (say, singlepower or emmiline or...) using JFETS? Do all that tube voicing right there with little unks of silicon! Battery-powered high-voltage tone!

It could work.

Or not.

It might just be wierd.

ok,
