This is weird -- I was in both of those places (Santa Monica and Manhattan) this summer! Both in the same week too!

Thats cool! I was only in Cali for 2 days

I was in CA for a week but Santa Monica for only one afternoon. SoCal is a fun place, but the traffic around the LA area was horrendous during my stay there! One afternoon there was a fatal car accident on I-485 NB, and there was crazy traffic for 6 hours (6 lane freeway turned into one lane) -- it took 2 hours to move 2 miles!

Have fun in NY! I miss NY

Nice pics... I have lived in both Nor and So Cal and So Cal is where it's at for sure. I live in Nor Cal right now and have not been to SF in almost 3 years

I'm not much for the City but I'll deal for the nice So Cal beaches and warm non-shark infested surf

So Cal traffic is always bad, you know you are in CA when distance is measured in time instead of mileage!

Next time you are in So Cal get down to San Diego... Gas Lamp District is pretty kewl... anyways looks like you had a pretty good trip

I absolutely love NYC...
Yesterday I was walking around manhattan for like 5 hours. I got absolutely nothing acheived yet it was so awesome just taking it all in (well I bought a couple of things and got a prepaid sim card... and found out how evil circuit city is)
I plan to go in again tommorrow, early hopefully
