So I got new earpads (these ones) for my old pair of K340 while trying to solve the notorious sweating problem of these phones.

Alas, those turned to be pretty the same material as the original ones. Which makes them impossible to use after 5 minutes or so.

If it weren't for this comfort issue, K340 would probably be my primary phones. Sound-wise they are in a class of their own.

So, has anyone seen or custom-made velour pads, or something comparable, for them? I'd gladly take look at your most creative solutions

Why not put something like Velcro on them and some cotton cloth or other material to form a cool barrier to the pads...

Zum, I really feel for you. The combination of heat, sweat, and my sensitive ears give me eczema with my K340. Until I can possibly get some Beyer velour pads (if it fits), I am doing the Saran Wrap. You still sweat, but it seems to be less and less bothersome..

Whoa, that looks (if possible) even less comfortable than the unmodded K340

Did you make a hole in the middle or does the sound pass through the plastic?

I tried the beyer dynamics velour pads once. I don't remember which phone it was though. They were very comfortable. I'd be interested to hear any experiences fitting some of them into K340.

Jon L : I see you only have plastic wrap on one pair of 340s, which means that the other pair must still make you sweat badly. So you should probably sell them to me. For your own safety, and all.
