However , the ones at monoprice are in budget too.  Which ones would be better ? The HD419 or the monoprice 8324 , or monoprice 8323 ?

Monoprice 8324 8323 is rather famous phone. Search it and you will get some answers.
 
I have no idea what's going on Senn's cheaper models, but from my experience with HD201 and HD202, they are really safe bets; at least they do what their prices ask.

Anything has to be more comfortable than what I have now?  I bought some cheap walmart crap: http://www.walmart.com/ip/JVC-Gumy-Headphones-Pink/15779985  . All they do is all out of my ears and feel terrible stuffed in there.

Stay away from Sennheiser HD419. Had them and they suck big time. Otherwise I love Sennheiser.

If you are patient you should be able to get a pair of Sennheiser HD428's for about $30. I got mine for $28, refurbished with a warranty, from eBay seller vminnovations. They are constantly selling them around this price (Buy it now, not auction). I love these headphones...retailing for $80-90 at my local Best Buy.

For $30 you can get a used HD 530. Among the top Sennheiser dynamics in its time not long ago and quite decent now.
 
Also, a vintage Yamaha ortho of the lowest rank should get to you for about $30. Mod them and get disheartened at how much you would need to pay should you want a modern can of the same quality of sound.

You won't get better sound quality for the price of the $15 Koss KSC75s - fact.  They are streets ahead of the JVCs.  I have both.  I have never been disappointed listening to them, even against my more pricier headphones.

I have to strongly disagree.  I bought the S400s after reading all the hype and was very disappointed with them.  I've tried all the mods and spent twice as much on pads to get this so called amazing sound out of them, but it just hasn't happened for me.  They don't get any ear time now, except for quiet listening in bed, not to wake the girlfriend up.  The JVCs are so coloured, closed in, boomy and lacking in top end clarity, whereas the KSC75s sound exciting immediately, spacious, open, detailed, balanced across the spectrum and eminently listenable with anything.  I even prefer the KSC75s to my HD598s for a number of things.  I wouldn't ever recommend those JVCs to anyone.  It's funny how people's opinions differ, isn't it?  I know they get some love on here, but views are mixed.  As you say, the KSC75s are iconic and they're iconic for a reason.

A 15 € pair of second-hand Yamaha planars trounce the KSC75. Better bass, better timbre, better detail, just all around more refined. Even my girlfriend agrees. I won't say anything about the treble or soundstage, though.
 
I also compared the KSC75 to a 25 € vintage AKG and found them to do no better there. The AKGs came out more refined.
 
Not to say the KSC75 are bad.
