In pictures of peoples' soldering stations I tend to see a clamp of some sort to hold whatever is being soldered. My few soldering jobs have been a bit of a PIA since my parts would roll around so I was looking into getting one.

Which ones do you guys recommend/where's a good place to buy from? Or perhaps what features or specs should I be looking for? Thanks.

I like my panavise:

its probably overpriced but it IS very useful and the spring arm allows quick in/outs.

I was considering picking up something like this (first google hit with a picture):

My local shop has this for $14 CDN, while the Panavise JR is $24.

Right now, I just use a small heavy bench vise. Opens up 2" and works well enough.

I haven't seen anyone else using the one I do so here it is:
Fume Extractor and working platform
I usually clamp the pcb vertically with the back side facing me.
