I know it's recommended to work in a well ventilated area, how do you all deal with this during the long cold winter, or are we just holding out breath?

I have my own supply of oxygen

Actually a small fan would not hurt to vent away from the work area , the fumes will disperse and become harmless.

But to be honest I just don't put my fave directly over the solder joint and I allow my low power soldering iron a pause between joints so it can come back up to temp so that also takes care of the fumes by allowing dispersal.

Plus I think my cat LIKES solder fumes
