These are now sold, thanks

Up for sale is a pair of Stax Sigma earspeakers along with the SRD7 transformer/energizer and a cool/weird stand for them. I am asking for $500.00 for all mentioned above. I will ship CONUS for $20 and international shipping is available but lets talk first.

Here are some pics

C'mon - someone's gotta be interested in these at this price. Think of the potential ........ they sound excellent as is and upgrade to a Sigma 404 for another $500 and you have one of the best phones......errrrr......earspeakers made. New ear pads are available cheaply from Audiocubes to bring it's appearance up to scratch. Also, in my opinion, the most comfortable phone ever made (and I have a big head!).
PS I forgot about all the entertainment that you can provide for your family also when you put 'em on.

funny thing is I almost hope they do not sell, once I recover financially from some other gear purchases I'd like to hear these with the 404 upgrade.

Holy moly! Is it all working?
Could you give an estimate what it would cost to ship to EU?

Edit: the cord seems to be replaced. How long is it?

The cord is original as the first Stax Sigma's were shipped with a cloth covered cable which is the normal 2.5m in length.

Tough times for folks I'm actually not bothered as if they do not sell I'll get the 404 mod and the NorCal crew will have another toy.
Glad you got the Jade I really want to hear it after hearing the 1.2 at Aaron's house.

OMG - I'd better get some photos of the Sigma/404 perched on the noggin up ASAP - the avatar that you can see now is me wearing the original low bias Sigmas, before they were sent to Yamasinc. When I was doing some internet dating (another story

) I used that pic in my photos - a lot of women commented that it showed I had a good sense of humour, but they wanted to help me with my fashion style. Far be it for me to stop them!
