-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hello,

For Sale Sennheiser Baby Orpheus electrostatic headphone + Amplifier (= HE60 + HEV 70) in excellent conditions (like new).

I used it only one time during about an hour. Only the leather stringcourse on the top of the head is a little bit cracked by time.

It includes all the original packing and the documentation.

The headphone is in France (in Brittany)

For more details, you can see the pictures or ask me any question.

This is a very rare headphone as much more that it is in perfect conditions.

I take for me all the transports and insurance costs if they don't exceed 100 euros. For other contries that Europe, I have to see if there are other costs (custom, taxes ...).

I have not the invoice because it is a gift but I can make a certificate of sale with copy of my identity card.

I will send the headphone after payment but I will give all the guarantees that the purchaser will ask me.

Please do not hesitate to contact me for more information.

I see what you did there.

Actually, I'm thinking of that thing myself.

Hello,

In fact, the husband of my sister worked for a company which was distributing Sennheiser. For very good results, he received this headphone as a gift. At this time, the headphone was new.

Sometime after (about 3 years ago), he gave me this headphone without having tried it.

I tested it one time only and "forgot" it in a cupboard (in good conditions).

Recently, I made some arrangement in my house and i saw it.

By curiosity, I looked on Internet what it was really and on the french forum "Génération MP3" some people gave me some advice and an estimate.

I talked about it with my brother-in-law and he says me to sell it if I wanted.

Now you have the explanation. I am not an impassioned of HiFi, I have not the material to exploit this headphone and it doesn't interrest me to invest in new material. I have others hobbies.

Just a question to jjsoviet : I don't speak very good english (I use an automatic translator for some words or sentences), what do you mean when you write : "I see what you did there. Actually, I'm thinking of that thing myself." Thank you for your answer.

Have a nice day.

Ahh... "I see what you did there" is an internet slang meaning one pointing out something witty posted by another member. paaj made a clever question by actually minimizing the font size.

The other sentence is actually a sort of question to you. I am pretty sure the Baby Orpheus is a very impressive piece of equipment but I wonder why you want to sell those.

Ok jjsoviet, thank you for your answer.

I explained in my precedent post why I wanted to sell it.

I just hope that this little conversation won't pose some problems for the sale because, I fell a little bit of mistrust in your questions (perhaps I am mistaken) whereas the possible buyer will have my adress, my phone, the serial numbers are on pictures... I am someone very honest who have just something to sell.

Excuse me if I wrotte something wrong or if I did a mistake, I am very new on this forum. Some french "specialist" said me to come here for this sale and to have som help.

Hoping having answered to your questions, don't hesitate to ask me some other things.

Cawa

no real mistrust intended, I asked just because it is very rare to see such a nice headphone being sold with so little use, so an explanation is important. bump for answered questions and a very good headphone

If you ever owned the HE60, you'd know that the headband flakes and cracks if you look at it wrong. If you breath anywhere near it, it disintegrates entirely.

Ditto. A new one is only $10 and the one from the HD650 is supposed to be much better and a direct replacement.

Hi everyone, I am sorry for my poor english, I am french too, and "come from" this french forum : Génération MP3 (about cawa spoke earlier). I orientated cawa on headfi for the sale of this headphone (which I own myself).

I would just post a message to informe those who are surprised (and perplexed as for its fairness/honesty), due to the fact that cawa doesn't listen very much to this headphone and didn't know his value.
Know that, to test it (the combo), he connected it up on a television !!
